The former Dead Kennedys frontman is back in great shape, with his second album with his new band. A concept album, his first since Frankenchrist. Following the autumn EP, SHOCK-U-PY! Jello and his bandmates tackle corruption and the media, but also, as the title suggests, the disasters of American foreign policy. A straightforward punk broadside, White People and the Damage Done is produced by Marshall Lawless and Matt Kelley (numerous Jello projects, Hieroglyphics, The Coup, Zen Guerrilla). Guitars are handled by Ralph Spight (Victims Family, Freak Accident) and Kimo Ball (Freak Accident, Griddle, Mol Triffid), Andrew Weiss on bass (Rollins Band, Ween, Butthole Surfers...), and Paul Della Pelle on drums (Helios Creed, Nik Turner's Space Ritual, ...). A tour is expected in 2013. NB: The CD format includes 4 bonus remixes.
