All recordings have been remastered for the occasion, according to the highest current standards. Special attention has been given to the creation of the booklets, including rare and unpublished documents. The greatest flutist of the modern era, with an unparalleled discography - over 15 million albums sold to date! - and unforgettable concerts after a dazzling career, Jean-Pierre Rampal has managed to embody his instrument, much like a Karajan for conducting or a Rostropovich for the cello.
