Deserted Palace
Description
Transversales Disques is proud to present the first official LP reissue of Deserted Palace, a studio album written and performed by Jean-Michel Jarre in 1972, during his time at the G.R.M. (Groupe de Recherches Musicales). In 1971, a project was entrusted to producer Francis Dreyfus to provide sounds for public places such as airports and libraries. He decided to entrust this project to Jean-Michel, who had just been signed to his label. These fifteen tracks were created with only two synthesizers (EMS VCS3 and Farfisa organ), in an experimental and highly minimalist style."It was a crazy album, entirely homemade, with rhythms I created in my student room, with minimal equipment and, at the same time, electronic sounds I stole from the GRM, where I went at night after stealing the studio keys. It is a pirate record, in every sense of the word, where you can find what I later did." - Jean-Michel JarreThis new edition is presented in a restored and remastered version.Buy Deserted Palace at the best price
