Aznavour Symphonique

Description

Jean Claudric is a renowned French conductor, composer and arranger in the variety and orchestral music scene. He has collaborated with great artists such as Mireille Mathieu, Johnny Hallyday and Charles Aznavour. 45 years ago, Aznavour Symphonique was released, a project dedicated to the repertoire of Charles Aznavour, recorded at the ThûˋûÂtre du Chatelet, offering reorchestrated versions of his greatest classics for a philharmonic orchestra. Jean Claudric's arrangements bring a symphonic breadth and a cinematic dimension to the songs, while respecting their melodic and emotional strength. This project remains a reference in the meeting between French chanson and symphonic music. We owe this magnificent reissue, remastered for the occasion, to Grand Corps Malade's label, Anouche Records. Grand Corps Malade is also the co-director of the Film: 'Monsieur Aznavour' (2024), with actor Tahar Rahim in the title role.
