Born in Lausanne, Marie Jay is carving out a pop path all her own, turning away from polished postures and overly formulaic narratives. With unfiltered writing and a direct delivery, she turns vulnerability into strength, anti-perfection into a style, and fragility into a form of poise. A badass fairy, anti-glamour without ever falling into cynicism, she unfolds a unique universe, rich in imagery, contrasts, and pop references. With her, mischief is never far off, nor is bite, already showing a real knack for the catchy phrase and chorus that stand out from the very first tracks. A new signing to 3ème Bureau / Wagram Music, Marie Jay arrives with a new EP, "le rose c’est hasbeen," which extends an already well-established trajectory: RTS Radar artist, a performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, a win at the Tataki Awards, and a hand-built community that keeps growing. Selected for the iNOUïS du Printemps de Bourges 2026 — the program that launched Christine & The Queens, Eddy de Pretto, and Fishbach — she will perform at Les Étoiles in Paris on June 11 before heading to the Eurockéennes de Belfort and the Paléo Festival. A pop project with a point of view, an artist who has already proven she knows how to build an audience, and a vinyl record that has everything it needs to find its place on the shelf.
