Java is back! The band led by R-Wan and Fixi is reforming for a festival tour. Legacy is therefore offering Java's first album "Hawai" for the first time on vinyl and digital, with 4 rare bonus tracks.
Hawai went Gold one year after its release in 2010, so 20 years ago. At the time, it sold 100,000 albums certified by SNEP, proving the originality of its music, ranging from "rap-musette" as Télérama described it, to cheeky songs blending humor and libertarian poetry.
Java's reformation for these long-awaited festivals will remind everyone of the quality of Erwan's lyrics, a songwriter like few others in French music over the past 20 years, and the melodies and arrangements so typical of the Java sound ("it's the real Parisian sound!" on Sexe Accordéon et Alcool) created by Fixi.
