Hailing from Norway, the eight members have created a new album that is unlike any of their previous works. They return to more electronic sounds, blending prominent drums, exhilarating guitar riffs, melodic synthesizers... This is neither an improvised album nor a score album, but a 100% studio album. The musicians all traveled to the leader, Lars Horntveth, who recently moved to Los Angeles, and never rehearsed before recording. It was upon returning to Norway that Lars finalized the album's last arrangements. The result is certainly less jazz than their usual style.
