Jackson and his Computerband is finally back with his first album since the influential Smash in 2005. By twisting the filtered funk of his Parisian ancestors and fusing the remains into a mad ensemble of orchestral grandiloquence, techno, and gothic hip-hop, Jackson & His Computerband brought a post-millennial baroque feel to the rave. And then everything went quiet, or almost, as he produced a series of remixes including "D.A.N.C.E" for Justice, "White Knight Two" for Surkin, and "Pacific Coast Highway" for his friend Kavinsky. He also composed and produced the soundtrack for the 2008 film Johnny Mad Dog. GLOW will be released on September 2nd and will be accompanied by a brand new live show where Jackson will present a custom collection of live electronic instruments. Jackson explains it himself: "GLOW is a game of musical obsession and enraged pleasures. I made it when I was possessed by feverish moments of revelation that I then shared with my friends. The live show opens the door to a perpetually changing universe and a real-time communion with the audience. My Computerband is now truly alive..."
