Three years after his album To The Sea, Jack Johnson returns with From Here To Now to You. He stayed in Hawaii for the recording of this sixth album. It is in Johnson's Mango Tree studio that he collaborated again with Mario Caldato Jr, with whom he had already worked on the album In Between Dreams. Ben Harper, his musical godfather who helped him in his early days, was present for this new opus where he came to lay down his voice and play his Weissenborn guitar.
