{"product_id":"ital-tek_mind-abandon_2026_dif","title":"Mind Abandon","description":"The new album by Ital Tek, \"Mind Abandon,\" marks a departure from his recent productions, favoring a more human approach, the opposite of the dense, immersive atmosphere of his previous albums and films. This time, he chose to compose away from the computer as much as possible, working more instinctively and letting himself be absorbed by the music. Alan found in his own voice the most natural starting point, transforming it into shifting pads and textures. His voice occupies a central place on most of the album, accompanied by percussion and effects played live, often captured during quick, spontaneous performances. The result is an album with broad, contrasting dynamics, where textures intertwine and rhythmic elements struggle to emerge from a dense, complex mass of sound. \"It's a very introspective album for me,\" Alan says. \"Losing my sense of identity was an integral part of the creative process—a growing effort to quiet my mind and embrace humanity and imperfection in the music. This path became a logical starting point for many vocal and guitar experiments—singing ideas, then reworking them to make them less identifiable.\" The album, both sculpted and three-dimensional, blends industrial and shoegaze influences with the darker tones of post-rock. Traces of dubstep, a sound that remains embedded in Alan's DNA, are subtly integrated into its structure. The opening track, \"The Ice Is Thin,\" is a lyrical flight carried almost entirely by guitar and keyboard, bathed in reverb. On \"A Hidden Path,\" almost everything except the drums comes from processed vocals and guitar, with a brief appearance from his daughter's toy ukulele. The track unfolds like the start of a journey—vast and cinematic—evoking the dramatic tension of Ennio Morricone's films before morphing into a colossal wall of sound. \"Kill Switch\" disorients with its powerful percussion, shaped from twangy acoustic guitars, cutting through layers of chords charged with static electricity. \"Undertow\" spirals out over guitar loops, against a backdrop of pulsing Rhodes. \"Misted,\" built around a rare 4\/4 beat, uses the guitar as a powerful rhythmic tool, opening with a bassline that wouldn't be out of place on a The Cure album. \"Imagined Landscape\" introduces icy keyboard textures that herald the dark closing track, \"The Pull,\" where an arpeggiated bassline, reminiscent of DAF, underpins an unsettling, introspective sound design, like a sting from within. Mind Abandon ends on a heavy, haunting note—new sounds, drawn from deep within the body and heart.","brand":"Ital Tek","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57215185650008,"sku":null,"price":20260619.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/5056321683298.jpg?v=1778010450","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/ital-tek_mind-abandon_2026_dif","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
