It's in 1995 that France discovered Isabelle Boulay in "Starmania". She plays the famous role of Marie-Jeanne... Since then, the artist has flown on her own wings. "Mieux qu'ici bas" is her third studio album and reveals a lineup of authors and composers more talented than the others: Daniel Seff, Richard Golemanas, Richard Cocciante, Patrick Bruel to name just a few... In the end, here is an album essentially composed of ballads. The singer alternates emotion and lyricism with obvious talent, without succumbing to the trend of shouting louder than her neighbor. And alongside the hits "Parle-moi" and "Un jour ou l'autre" are fabulous little gems ("Nos rivières", "Mieux qu'ici-bas"...) that reveal a true gift for interpretation.
