Additionally, their two previous albums will be reissued at the same time.Formed in 2008, the German band IRON KOBRA set out to bring heavy metal back to its raw and authentic roots. Influenced by legends such as Iron Maiden, Cirith Ungol, Living Death, Manowar, and Tank, with a touch of punk, the band concocted a venomous blend of catchy, fast-paced heavy metal, perfect for singing, headbanging, or raising a fist! The early years were busy, with the release of the demo Cult of the Snake in 2009 and the EP Battlesword the following year. After playing extensively across Europe and earning a reputation as a force on stage, IRON KOBRA collaborated with DYING VICTIMS in 2012 to release their landmark album, Dungeon Masters, followed three years later by their more refined second album, Might & Magic. The following years, especially those around the pandemic, slowed their momentum, but behind the scenes, they continued writing and playing a few shows, even traveling as far as Japan.Today, IRON KOBRA finally returns to claim their place as kings of epic metal with Eternal Dagger! While the distinctive cover art suggests a sci-fi touch, the timeless heavy metal the Germans unleash here is pure IRON KOBRA: immediately recognizable, yet reflecting on and refining their past, incorporating influences from their favorite bands to create something that will soon become YOUR favorite!
