Description

Irnini Mons did not spring from the thigh of Jupiter but rather from the depths of the French underground. Spontaneously formed by three members of Decibelles, this new group quickly became a natural fit. Joined by a second guitarist, the now-quartet decided to look forward, while drawing on years of concerts, collaborations, studio recordings, and encounters. Irnini Mons presents itself as an augmented version of the hardcore punk and French rock that its members grew up on since adolescence. Augmented because it injects a good dose of freedom and humanity into an already powerful framework. With its first LP, composed during an 8-month forced break from touring, the band asserts its personality, particularly in a melodic and choral approach to singing and raw, evocative French lyrics, whose inspiration likely comes from outside classic electric rock. Irnini Mons redefines formulas, subverts clichés, and establishes itself as a refreshing hope for today's guitar music.
