Irène Drésel, an electro artist somewhere between Vitalic and Solomun, made history in 2023 as the first woman to win the César for Best Original Score. She creates vibrant techno music that is as sensual as it is direct, inspired by a rich, magnetic, sonic, and visual universe. After two consecutive EPs, "Rita" (2017) and "Icône" (2018), her debut album "Hyper Cristal" was released in spring 2019. This was followed by a second album, "Kinky Dogma," in 2021, which Libération described as "a sophisticated, ambitious yet unpretentious techno work, as it never loses sight of its creator's goal: to provoke an irresistible exhilaration in the listener." She promoted these projects through numerous concerts, including a sold-out show at Le Trianon, a show at La Cigale that sold out in 24 hours, and major festivals (including Printemps de Bourges, Fnac Live, Les Vieilles Charrues, and Arte Concert). With over 5,000 cumulative sales from her previous works, her third album, "Rose Fluo," will be celebrated at L'Olympia in May 2024.
