Toronto's IMPLODERS return with their second album, Targeted For Termination. Faster, rawer, and more aggressive than their debut, this one lightens the load and gets straight to the point with 12 new tracks, the longest of which is under 96 seconds. The sound is still classic hardcore from both sides of the border, with an emphasis on punk (think Circle Jerks, Zero Boys, and Angry Samoans). Lyrically, they delve deeper into their world of annoyances, grievances, and sleepless nights enjoying the delights of heavy metal (the movie) and Medieval Times (not recommended for purists). All of this is presented in a cover offering a vision of the future worthy of a cheap 1950s sci-fi novel.
