After 27 years of the band's history, the eighth album is now in the New Yorker catalog. Of course, Ross Dolan's characteristic vocals and the powerful guitar sound remain undeniable identity features of Immolation. Twisted and off-kilter dissonances join a powerful and precise rhythm section, and while these two contrasting parts whip themselves into ever more orgiastic heights, Dolan's vocal organ acts as a contrary calm in a whirlwind of sadness. Immolation never strays from the path they once took in "Kingdom Of Conspiracy". No surprises.
