{"product_id":"immersion_wtf_2025_dif","title":"Wtf??","description":"Wtf?? Wtf?? This is the only realistic response to these dark, conflict-ridden and dangerous times. How do you react? How do you feel? What soundtrack do you choose? Immersion is the project of post-punk musical architects Colin Newman (Wire) and Malka Spigel (Minimal Compact) and Matt Schulz (Holy Fuck, Savak and LakeRuth). Since the pandemic, Immersion has mainly focused on their Nanocluster collaborations, but they have now reactivated the main project following touring in the UK and USA that gave them a dose of musical urgency and lyrical immediacy. If the Nanocluster project is about collaboration, then Immersion in 2025 is a response to the current predicament of humankind in the second decade of the 21st century. It not only reacts to the incessant rhetoric of our times but also how we humans should respond. Music is the message, the medium, the message and the moment. This collection of songs combines unease with hope, minimalist and hypnotic writing, tense melodies, inventiveness and groove. The lead track “Use It Don’t Lose It” is described as “an expression from the two of us together, saying the same thing for ourselves and for others. The words are so direct that they don’t need explaining. Anyone can join in the chanting!”","brand":"Immersion","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55685685772632,"sku":null,"price":20251031.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/5063176087911_e91c3997-583d-4d2b-ab24-be402933d6f3.jpg?v=1760985755","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en\/products\/immersion_wtf_2025_dif","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
