The reissue of HYPOCRISY "Hypocrisy (Reissue 2023)" will be released as a transparent green double LP in a gatefold sleeve. HYPOCRISY and Nuclear Blast Records are beginning the second chapter of a massive catalog campaign, bringing back all their legendary records from the past, some of which are highly sought-after rarities. "Chapter Two" covers the albums "The Final Chapter" (1997), "Hypocrisy" (1999) and "Into The Abyss" (2000). Considered milestones in HYPOCRISY's career, Peter Tägtgren, Mikael Hedlund and Lars Szoke reached a new level of songwriting quality and placed emphasis on dynamics during this period. They created additional layers of atmosphere and sometimes used clean vocals, resulting in melodic death metal hymns that are hauntingly beautiful yet heavy and aggressive. The 2023 reissues preserve true classics in a stunning way that were not available, notably on LP, for far too long or were never released as standalone vinyl ("Into the Abyss").
