Behind Hyperculte are Simone Aubert (Massicot) and Vincent Bertholet (Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp). The former plays her drums with pinpoint precision. The latter tames his double bass and makes it sing in loops. Both open their mouths in repetitive and inspired litanies. The whole thing mixes into a fiery trance, both meditative and extraordinarily energetic.
