His debut album, Sun Blonde, transitions from meditative drone pieces to radio-friendly hits. It serves as a soundtrack for the experience of a stranger in Los Angeles — the excitement of its warmth and opportunities, as well as its oppressive excesses, relentless heat waves, traffic, and its annual fire season, turning the sun a vivid red.
