The legendary band Hot Snakes announces its big comeback with a new album, their first in 14 years! Throughout “Jericho Sirens,” Rick Froberg (vocals and guitar) empathizes with the permanent frustration and apathy that seem to be a reality in our daily lives. "No matter where you look, there are always people saying the world is about to end. Every movie is a disaster movie. I'm fascinated by that. It's madness, a self-fulfilling prophecy, a snowball effect, like feedback or my balls on the windshield." Musically, the album explores the extremes of the Hot Snakes sound. The band nevertheless remains true to its long-standing influences, found in "Six Wave Hold-Down," one of the album's earliest compositions (2017). “Jericho Sirens” was recorded in short bursts over the past year, primarily in San Diego and Philadelphia with longtime bassist Gar Wood, Jason Kourkounis, and Mario Rubalcaba.
