Sensation of French rap since his first steps to the microphone in 2012, Hornet la Frappe has spent the last five years working in the shadows to perfect his raw talent and refine his style. From a basic profile of a kicker born to demolish any type of production, the rapper from Epinay-sur-Seine has taken the time to diversify his palette, taking the time to create rap hits that are as melancholic as they are unifying (“Maghrébin”) and venturing today into both the realm of heartbreak (“Mon Ex”) and more classic street anthems (“Dead ça”, “T'es un marrant” feat Fianso) on which Hornet showcases all his technique. Gradually emerging from the shadows for a year, Hornet's rise follows a straight trajectory, which should quickly lead him to the heights of French rap: accumulating more than forty million views on his videos, half of which are for his first huge success, Gramme de Peuf, released in winter and certified gold single in spring. The album "Nous-mêmes", the next step in his ascent, should therefore logically represent the ultimate recognition.
