Description

On "Reflection," the second album by Hooverphonic featuring singer Noémie Wolfs, the band returns to an authentic analog sound. Alex Callier and Raymond Geerts did not want to simply record in a studio, but rather in their fans' homes to capture that unique reverberation, that "reflection" so essential to these tracks. In early 2013, Hooverphonic launched a call to their fans to propose potentially unique houses for the ambitious "Hooverdomestic" project. Ultimately, five locations were selected: four in Belgium and one in France. The result? The most uplifting and joyful album ever made by Hooverphonic. Moreover, Noémie Wolfs is joined on this album by three new singers/instrumentalists, who bring an additional spatial dimension to the tracks on "Reflection."
