Homme Bleu met with nice success with his album « Le bal des crocodiles » in 2023. He sings in English on his new album 'Dark Matter', with a slight Arcade Fire, Screaming Trees, Pearl Jam vibe...After « I ride », the rock artist is back with « Darkmatter », which is taken from his eponymous album to be released at the end of April. The opus was produced in New York by Alex Conroy, except for the track « The life in me ».Known for his atypical approach, Homme Bleu's music is inspired both by the great names of 80s rock and French chanson. His beginnings with Blue Valentines in the 80s laid the foundations of his universe: committed, sincere, and daring rock. Forty years later, the artist retains this authenticity that transcends eras, addressing universal themes of wandering, humanity, and the search for self.This album captures the artistic continuity of Homme Bleu, who, over the years, has transformed his punk energy into a poetic rock, both intimate and universal, inviting the listener to a deep and sometimes bitter reflection on the world around him.Recorded at Studio Garage in Montpellier, this album will feature 12 tracks in English.A decidedly rock album that gives pride of place to guitars with modern arrangements. Introspection, existential questions, human relationships, and the passage of time are the artist's favorite themes, with an undeniably pop-rock influence in an electro whirlwind.The album received support from the Centre National de la Musique (CNM) and the Société civile des producteurs phonographiques (SCPP).
