HÉR is a band from the northern coast of Poland, where five musicians meet between ritual and instinct. Their music fuses Slavic melodies and Scandinavian atmosphere into a single primal voice, echoing Nordic poetry and ancestral communions. ‘Monochrome’ is a meditation on presence: seven movements exploring the boundaries between stillness and strength, light and shadow. Recorded at Monochrom studio and produced by Ignacy Gruszecki, the album captures the raw breath of guttural singing, the tension of bowed strings, and the weight of silence. From the hypnotic call of “Chant” to the fiery ritual of “Praise the Day,” each track unfolds like a journey through frost and fire: a witness to patience, strength, and respect for all that endures.
