Her New Knife is a shoegaze/alternative band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, composed of Edgar Atencio (guitar and vocals), Ben Kachler (guitar), Carolina Schooley (bass), and Elijah Ford (drums). Last year, the band released the EP *chrome is lullaby* via the influential label Julia’s War Recordings. This record revealed a raw and vulnerable aura, offering shoegaze and post-punk fans a deep connection to the band's unique universe. After a one-off cover of Björk’s "Pagan Poetry," Her New Knife now returns with a six-track remix EP, featuring reworkings by TAGABOW, Sword II, Frost Children, and other artists. The EP allows listeners to revisit the original tracks while exploring new sonic textures, enriching the auditory experience. The physical version, titled *chrome is lullaby deluxe*, presents the original EP on side A and its corresponding remixes on side B, offering both a collector's item and an immersive object for fans of the band and its shoegaze/alternative approach.
