Hailing from the Los Angeles noise scene and a regular at major international festivals like Coachella and Primavera Sound, HEALTH has been supplying uncompromising, avant-garde industrial rock since 2005. Following in the footsteps of Nine Inch Nails, Perturbator, and Ministry, singer-guitarist Jake Duzsik, bassist and producer John Famiglietti, and drummer BJ Miller blend electronic programming with furious riffs, sweeping across genres from metal to hip-hop, electro, and pop. *Rat Wars*, HEALTH's seventh album, is a singular artistic manifesto that multiplies sonic experiments, alternating trashy confrontations like "Crack Metal," technoid probes like "Hateful," gothic atmospheres like "Children of Sorrow" (featuring Lamb Of God guitarist Willie Adler), and R&B variations like "Ashamed" at the heart of a radical and tormented whole.
