Midlake co-founder presents a hypnotic folk debut solo album. Harp is the new musical project formed by Tim Smith, formerly lead singer and main songwriter of the American band Midlake, and his wife Kathi Zung. They are unveiling their first album titled Albion. The road to this first solo venture may have been long and winding, but the music created by Harp is imbued with sublime melodies, moods, drama, and details. The ten songs and two instrumentals are framed by a weave of acoustic/electric guitars, gentle keyboard nuances, and Smith's magnificent voice. In other words, the quintessence of what initially attracted people to his work with Midlake.
