After "10,000" and "2012," "Independence Day: Resurgence" is the third collaboration between director Roland Emmerich and Australian composers Thomas Wander and Harald Kloser. The latter have an impressive resume after working on a very large number of blockbusters. Specialists in disaster films, they notably composed the music for "White House Down," "The Day After Tomorrow," "Alien vs. Predator," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Previously directed by Roland Emmerich with Liam Hemsworth ("The Last Song," "Hunger Games," "Expendables 2"...), Joey King ("Conjuring," "The Warren Files"...), Maika Monroe ("It Follows"...).
