In 1998, a year after their first album 'Glory To The Brave', the Swedish power metal band Hammerfall released their second studio album titled 'Legacy Of Kings'. Again produced by Fredrik Nordstrom, but this time with guitarist Oscar Dronjak as co-producer. 'Legacy Of Kings' is another well-dense, tasteful and flawless collection of catchy, memorable and melodic heavy metal in the tradition of Priest, Maiden, Saxon, Accept and Helloween. Expect soaring and melodic vocals, frequent dual guitar lines and melodic guitar solos, solid and galloping drums, and heroic lyrics on themes of triumph and victory. "After the immediate success of 'Glory To The Brave', we were under pressure to live up to our expectations. But we weren't worried, we had a vision of the perfect heavy metal band and were determined to achieve it," explained guitarist Oscar Dronjak.
