On January 12th, Metal Blade Records will release the new album from Hamferð, the legendary Faroese doom metal band. The band sought to create a true musical epic, inspired, among other things, by classical symphonies and progressive concept albums. This resulted in an album comprised of ancient and familiar elements, violent and strange, carnal and unreal, all while aiming to surprise and move the listener. This new album concludes a conceptual trilogy, which began with the 2010 EP "Vilst er siðsta fet," followed by the internationally acclaimed 2013 album "Evst."
