Honest Feeling Album is the highly anticipated second album by HakushiHasegawa, a Japanese artist based in Tokyo (composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist), the first Japanese signed to FlyingLotus's Brainfeeder label. Recognized as an innovative figure in the contemporary Japanese scene, Hakushi blends jazz, pop, J-rock, electronic, and experimentation. On this album, they collaborate with the group HaHa & TheHairpins, bringing more breadth and intensity. The first single, TheOwner of Sweetness, reflects this hybrid approach. The project also includes collaborations with tofubeats, Lang Lee, TsukinoMito, and Accorinrin (Otoboke Beaver), for a rich and unpredictable sound universe.
