WRWTFWW Records is delighted to present the very first vinyl release of the exceptional original soundtrack from the 1999 Japanese political action thriller Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade by Hajime Mizoguchi. The epic complete album is available as a limited edition LP pressed at Emil Berliner Studios and housed in a thick 350 gsm sleeve. The legendary animated film Jin-Roh was written by the filmmaker, television director, and award-winning Palme d'Or and Leone d'Oro winner Mamoru Oshii, whose filmography includes Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor 2: The Movie, and Angel's Egg - works critically acclaimed and praised worldwide, notably by luminaries such as James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, and The Wachowskis. The film was directed by the great studio Production I.G. affiliate Hiroyuki Okiura (Record of the Lodoss War, A Letter to Momo...). The film's music, courtesy of the renowned composer, cellist, and arranger Hajime Mizoguchi, evokes the dystopian world in which Jin-Roh takes place and captures the Little Red Riding Hood theme that drives the story.
