An American playing English pop results in... Huw Gwynfryn Evans is a 29-year-old musician from Los Angeles, and when he’s not playing guitar for Cate Le Bon, he goes by the sweet name of H. HAWKLINE and is working on an exciting personal project! In The Pink Of Condition will be H. HAWKLINE's third album and will be released on February 2nd via Heavenly Recordings. It was recorded at Seahorse Sound studio in Los Angeles, with the long-time friend and collaborator of H. HAWKLINE, Cate Le Bon, producing. "Strange pop," is how Huw describes his own album, which was inspired in part by American author Richard Brautigan (he actually took his pseudonym from the book The Hawkline Monster published in 1974), and on the other hand by Paul McCartney's solo adventure, and more specifically that of HIS 29 years, when HIS third album, Ram, was released.
