Gunman and the Holy Ghost is one of many projects initiated by Hákon Aðalsteinsson (The Third Sound). Tracks written in Berlin during the coldest months of winter, to be recorded and mixed in spring. Songs that swim in pathos: "I Don't Believe In Love Anymore" or "Oh Lord, Let Me Die In Pain" but the album's darkness, its misery, plays out in nuances and variations. The saddest lyrics are played to sustained rhythms. Folk-rock is the dominant style but R&B accents, country inspirations, and tributes to Leonard Cohen can also be heard.
