With the first self-titled album by Fair Warning and Knock Out by Bonfire, One Night Stand is a brilliant example of the German melodic rock sound of the early 90s. Casanova took the basic formula of American arena rock and added a sense of polish and precision that is typically European.
They also incorporated elements from the Hollywood hair metal scene, substituting heart and emotion for spandex and sleaze, resulting in a sound that is truly irresistible. With One Night Stand in particular, we get a good idea of Casanova's range, from fist-pumping anthems to grooving rockers, including slower tracks.
Since the reissue of One Night Stand by Divebomb in 2010 (long sold out), fans have been waiting for a new edition. Bad Reputation has taken on the challenge of doing better than the 2010 reissue and offers 10 bonus tracks!!! The song "Here Comes That Feelin' Again" was recorded during the One Night Stand sessions but never appeared on the final album.
The other nine bonus tracks are live, studio, demos (including an unreleased track) and a song for a tribute to Kiss (Demon Drive).
