With "Go Back," we are indeed going back a very long way. Not only does the title evoke an Arthur Russell-esque vibe, but it actually contains the ingredients of Arthur Russell's acclaimed garage sound, as Steven Hall, a.k.a. Nirosta Steel, was the guitarist and even vocalist on the hits "Is It All Over My Face," "In The Light Of A Miracle," and "Tell You Today." Far from fading away, Nirosta Steel met DJ, producer, and Chinese record store owner Tomasz Guiddo, who had previously released a project on the Compost Disco label. When Kalabrese heard the original, he said it reminded him of a hidden Talking Heads track. Be that as it may, Kalabrese delivered a jovial, disco-tinged track, while Shahrokh Dini takes "Go Back" into a more house-oriented universe.
