And so the story continues. After an 8-year hiatus, GRUFFAZ returns with his 6th album, “Réplique Indigo,” released on vinyl. Side A features 5 tracks: a mix of French song and rock. Side B, however, presents a single, unclassifiable 21-minute piece, all seasoned with organic “bidouille” (tinkering) by arranger Stéphan Tel Boïma, who also handled the recording and mixing. The album also boasts magnificent graphic design by Chromatovore Anamorphique. This long break from releasing albums did not dampen the spirits of the inimitable GRUFFAZ. During this period, he continued to tour with his various bands (Gruffaz Elec'Tricks & Zolo, Ste Rita…), wrote 2 collections, co-wrote 3 children’s shows, collaborated with historical puppeteers from “Les Guignols de l'info,” created a festival, an association centered around puppetry, and an artist residency…
