Groumpf is a quartet of young rabbits straight out of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. A cheerful band from Lyon who started writing and composing day and night in the post-covid era. After a first 3-track EP released in 2022 and almost a hundred live shows under their belt, it's time to release their very first album, the result of two years of work. 12 tracks! This is what remains of about thirty songs written during this strange and post-apocalyptic period, the best of what the quartet embodies! An album written and composed collectively, without a predefined framework. It turns out to be eclectic, as eclectic as these four characters, embodying their multiple facets and influences. Mixing without hierarchy and in a joyful fusion of Britpop and Madchester with a psych-electro twist, touching upon an unwavering letting go; all that characterizes the GROUMPF spirit today. The Beauty, the Love and the Flawoz is the ray of sunshine on a foggy path, vibrating and ecstatic bodies on a tired dance floor, a joyful mess in a field of ruins.
