Andrew Stonestreet (lead singer and guitarist, originally from West Virginia), Daniel Dixon (guitar and keyboards, originally from Northern California) and Brady Swan (drummer, originally from Texas) revisit a timeless musical tradition, blending electronic and acoustic sounds in music that is both subtle and powerful. Their influences are eclectic: Dixon mentions Swan's love for house music, while Stonestreet grew up listening to folk and bluegrass. Among the big names the band draws inspiration from are Led Zeppelin and Elliott Smith. Stonestreet cites Fleetwood Mac, Then Play On, Bob Dylan and Crosby Stills Nash & Young. The album was produced by the legendary Phil Ek (Band of Horses, Fleet Foxes, Modest Mouse).
