A musical journey on double-CD or double-LP through the discography of the legendary British musician, member of King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer. This anthology of GREG LAKE is a tribute that spans the entire career of the British artist, including the early recordings of masterpieces by King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, his solo works, and his collaborations. 'The Anthology' is fabulous. To start, there's the huge collection of Psych 45s "Love" that Greg Lake recorded in 1969 with the Shy Limbs, as well as carefully preserved treasures from ELP's hit albums, including "Take A Pebble", "C'est La Vie" and "Lucky Man". The anthology wouldn't be complete without the much-loved solo hit "I Believe In Father Christmas", King Crimson's albums "21st Century Schizoid Man", "Peace" and "In The Court Of The Crimson King", as well as the artist's re-recording of his old ELP favourite "Closer To Believing", which he made towards the end of his life and is featured on CD2. A "Must Have", as our English neighbours say. Essential.
