The tireless Chris Robinson found time, between two tours with his "Brotherhood," to form a supergroup for a series of shows across the USA in early 2019. Accompanied by Barry Sless, Greg Loiacono, Pete Sears, and John Molo, Chris Robinson revisits, in his own cosmic way, some country and rock classics from artists like JJ Cale, Waylon Jennings, and The Byrds. We also find covers of "Big Mouth Blues" by Gram Parsons, "No Expectations" by The Rolling Stones, "Ride Me High" by JJ Cale, and the classic "That's Alright Mama" by Arthur Crudup. Here, Chris Robinson offers his vision of a country-psych jam band animating dances for an assembly under the stars. It promises a timeless moment, like the warmth of a campfire or a summer night.
