In 2006, Norwegian progressive metal band GREEN CARNATION surprised everyone with an entirely acoustic album. The album represents a special step in the band's career as it combines a warmer, softer sound thanks to acoustic instruments while retaining the progressive style and melancholic mood of its previous works. From the folk influences of "Alone" to the dark vibrations of "Sweet Leaf", the record overflows with a raw emotional power that only a few bands have managed to master.
