6 sonatas for cello & continuo
Description
Carlo Graziani, born in the Italian city of Asti in 1710, was one of the first virtuosos of the cello. A great traveler, he played in London with the young Mozart at the age of 7 in 1764! He left many works, sonatas, and several concertos for his instrument. His sonatas provide a fascinating example of his art and virtuosity: fast passages, complex constructions, and extensive use of the upper register. In short, very beautiful music! The Armoniosa Ensemble is also from Asti and offers a very elegant performance, with a preference for these sonatas composed by one of the key figures in the development of the instrument that is the cello.Buy 6 sonatas for cello & continuo at the best price
