The three-track vinyl comes from the original master tapes, cut at 45 RPM, and is accompanied by its iconic artwork on a 350 gsm sleeve. This special limited edition is available in blue vinyl variant.Ich mochte ein Eisbär sein...Written by Martin Eicher after a nightmare in which he saw polar bears talking on the walls, and with music by the band Grauzone composed of Martin and his brother Stephan Eicher, Marco Repetto, Christian "GT" Trüssel and Claudine Chirac (on saxophone), "Eisbär" is the band's most recognizable track, a sublime blend of ingredients reflecting the transitional era from which it emerged. - the raw energy of punk music still palpable, combined with the boldness of early electronics, the warm groove of a disco gem, beautifully fragile lyrics and one of the best bass lines of all time.
