Switch is the tenth studio album by the Dutch rock band Golden Earring, released in 1975. It follows Moontan, the album that brought them international fame, and their cult classic Radar Love. In 1974, both the American music magazine Billboard and the British Sounds named them one of the most promising groups on the current music scene.Switch marks a turning point for Golden Earring, with more pronounced funk and prog influences than on their previous albums. The single "Kill Me (Ce Soir)" perfectly illustrates this new sonic direction.Wouter Bessels, the band's archivist, cataloged and listened to all the work tapes from the Switch recording sessions and discovered an unreleased track: Action Alice & Bow-Tie Basil. Recorded during those same sessions, this is the first time the band has authorized the release of a finished and previously unreleased studio track.
