Excellent Breton musicians from several generations accompany his deep voice, which time has given a soft and warm patina. The odyssey in 12 tracks logically begins with "Kalondour" ("I was born at night in February") and ends with the moving "Je vous emporte dans mon cœur," which has become a classic. Gilles Servat includes a few surprises: new songs ("Cholet d’mon enfance"), "resurrections" ("La douleur d’aimer," "Gros plant et muscadet"). There are also tributes: to the poets René-Guy Cadou ("Liberté couleur des feuilles") and Yann-Ber Calloc’h ("Er Gédour braz"); to the "Trees"; to the languages "that are said to be minority." He reprises his song in Breton "Yezhoù bihan" and extends it with a creation in Gallo, "Dé Ptit Parlement." The artist plays on the polysemy of the term, "parlement," which refers to both language and the political assembly.
