Co-produced by DEAN JAMES, the third album by SAM DUCKWORTH is the result of two years of work spent between Brixton and Hoxton. After being nominated for the Mercury Prize with his first album in 2006 The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager, and achieving similar success with Searching For The Hows And Whys in 2009 (co-produced by NITIN SAWHNEY) on which he invited KATE NASH and BILLY BRAGG, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly confirms the extent of the young artist's talents. Coming from the new English scene that saw the emergence of JAMIE T and JACK PENATE, Sam has also worked with BILLY BRAGG on the JAIL GUITAR DOOR project. Influenced by his attraction to hip-hop and his passion for drum'n'bass, this new album conjures electronic sounds with acoustic melodies.
