The last concert at la Scala
Description
Georges Prêtre, one of the greatest conductors of our time, and the prestigious Milanese theater La Scala were linked by an artistic and friendly relationship for over 50 years. On February 22, 2016, the Maestro said goodbye to his dear Scala with Beethoven, Verdi, Offenbach, and Ravel during a final triumphant concert, conquering the musicians and the audience with Egmont, La Force du destin, a peaceful Barcarolle, and a frantic Can-can, without giving up the essential ritual of the Boléro. 'La Scala has lost one of the Masters who marked history,' commented Alexander Pereira, director of the institution, after his passing in January 2017. 'His unparalleled musicality and magic inspired enthusiasm in the orchestras with which he worked. At the end of the concert last February, the musicians of La Scala declared that he was younger than them.'Buy The last concert at la Scala at the best price
