Author of Père prodigue, Sampa, Morte saison, he received the Prix de l'Académie Charles-Cros for French records in 1966. He was named Chevalier des Arts et Lettres in 1985 and Chevalier of the National Order of Merit in 2011. After more than 50 years of a singer-songwriter career with a good thirty original albums, the years have passed, he has not aged, and his audience remains loyal to him.
